I created this piece while sitting on the curb last year during the Buckman School Art Show & Sell. Portland urban neighborhoods are full of gardens, making it feel quite lush. I liken Portland to a Garden of Eden.
...perhaps Crimson Joy is my favorite. It is the sole piece of art on a very large wall in my living room. Everyone who comes into my home stops and breathes in the beauty of the picture. Each person seems to have their own experience of what it means to them. I love it because it is filled with glorious color and rolling hills and a path that takes me to magical places. The colors are vibrant, alive and joyful. Each time I look at that picture it brings a smile to my face and peace to my heart. It truly is JOY. — Carol McKeog
