Oregon Landscape Artist Jane Aukshunas
Going out to paint in different seasons to capture the changing colors of the year, I tune in to the mysterious power of the natural world and translate what I see and feel into the essential elements, shapes, and colors that are the crux of my imagery. Searching out the Pacific Northwest’s most beautiful places, I paint the crimson clover fields of spring, summer’s flowing rows of lavender, golden autumn vineyards, mauve berry fields in winter, and throughout the year, I am always searching for just the right hillsides to capture the stretching shadows cast by the late afternoon sun. I specialize in vineyard art and images of lavender, and gladly accept art commissions. See the Gallery page to find out more about my original work and giclee art reproductions of my imagery.
